Should you decide to advertise your seminar in the trade press you can insert a ‘hot line’ telephone number direct to Main Marketing. The telephone would be answered with the name of your company and any queries or requests for maps, agendas, or confirmation packs would be dealt with direct.
Once an invitation has been received, it can often sit in a recipient’s inbox waiting for them to get around replying. A telephone call suggesting that they can register over the phone and receive a confirmation pack by e-mail is often the push they need to agree to attend.
Timing is always crucial when arranging seminars. Invitations sent out too early can be forgotten about, if sent out too late diaries can already be full.
